Project goal
to increase the level of competencies, promote development through the provision of quality knowledge and professional advice by specialists in various business areas with a high level of practical experience to ActAid beneficiaries who have received grants for self-employment or micro-entrepreneurship, vulnerable groups of people, and others.


Territory of the event
The trainings are held in Yuzhnenska community, Avanhardivska community, Safianivska community, Izmail district of Odesa region and in Odesa city.

We are the Good Samaritan Charitable Foundation, and thanks to our partners, the humanitarian organization ACTED, we are able to launch a program of free trainings, seminars, consultations, workshops on starting your own business, financial literacy, digital literacy, psychological support, marketing and sales, farming (poultry, etc.), agricultural issues (creating greenhouses and growing vegetables, etc.), bread baking and other types of agriculture. Legal and accounting advice is also included.

This program is supported by the French non-governmental organization Acted and funded by the USAID Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance.

Olena Babunova from Yuzhne founded her family business, Mama Moti, thanks to a grant from Acted. After losing her job, she decided to try to realize her own idea. She used the grant money to buy a freezer, raw materials, and develop high-quality packaging.

At first, Olena was worried about her unstable income, but the support of the Business Consulting Center helped her overcome difficulties, gain new knowledge, confidence and psychological support.

Now Olena is realizing her dream and developing her own business.

Olha Svyshch has always dreamed of creating dried flower arrangements that bring comfort. Before the war, she had planned to start her own business, but financial instability prevented her from doing so. Thanks to a grant from Acted, Olha purchased materials and started creating bouquets, decorating her premises and holding workshops.

The Business Consulting Center's trainings, including marketing, helped her to effectively promote her products on social media and find new customers.

Olga received financial advice and won her second grant as a result. She also started working with large companies.
